Chesterfield-style coat by french designer jean colonna, made from dense wool-nylon twill which has been overdyed from a cream/unbleached base to a dark (almost charcoal-y) grey. The final effect is mottled and irregular, and very striking, with the dye taking to the fabric in some areas more than others and fully revealing the base colour along the edge of the collar, front placket, and side seams/underarms, and on the inside of the coat.

The coat has notch lapels, a covered button front placket, twin flap pockets at the waist, and a single back vent. It is fully lined in the same dense twill used on the surface of the coat, with two buttoned interior pockets.
